Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften

On June 17th the CRTX team from the TU presented our pilot for textile sorting based on computer vision and AI on the Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften. Visitors could watch our prototype live while sorting old clothes. They could even try it out themselves by feeding our prototype with clothes from a stack provided by us or by taking their own clothes or bags and letting our artificial intelligence classify the textiles. The topics of textile waste and use of artificial intelligence for our society were received with great interest and many interesting discussions evolved with the visitors of our stand. Thanks to everyone from the CRTX team and from the TU Berlin for making this demonstration possible and thanks to all the interested visitors!
